Clydebank Bowling Club, was founded in 1884 and is in the town of Clydebank, 5 miles West of Glasgow city centre and is famous for John Browns shipyard, Builders of the Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth and QE2 Liners and the Royal Yacht Britannia as well and the Singer Sewing Machine Factory, makers of the worlds greatest sewing machines until they closed a couple of decades ago.

Competition

The club participate in local competitions in the Clydebank and District Bowling Association in both summer and winter leagues and competition’s . We also compete in the Dunbartonshire and Bowls Scotland competitions during the bowling season

Recreation

The club bar is open 7 days a week during the summer season with members having competitive prices on their drinks. We also have 2 full size snooker tables and a pool table for the use of by the members and their guests.

Social

During the year then club organise a range of different social events including our famous Burns Supper and Hogmanay party as well as the regular club Fun Nights in the members lounge.
